Malaika’s Angels – Our Donors and Partners

Mr. Morrison

Mr. Ken Morrison

Malaika salutes Kenneth Morrison of Hastings, Nebraska, for the initial grant to establish the Malaika Foundation in 2007. He continued to be a major supporter and with his vision for Nebraska teachers to travel abroad, the Kenneth Morrison International Travel Fellowships were established.

Under his program, 18 teachers and three students traveled to Cambodia, Thailand, Tanzania, Italy, Greece, China, Mexico and Peru.

Mr. Morrison is an outstanding Nebraskan who developed successful agricultural businesses in grains, hogs, cattle, and Alaskan fishing. Also, he has pioneered developments in shrimp aquaculture, hatchery, and feed manufacturing. Kenneth started his career at age 6, working on his family’s farm in Kansas.

The Malaika Foundation thanks Ken for his early support, his generosity and his vision for global education in Nebraska.
