Ken Morrison Fellowships

Mr. Ken Morrison and Morrison Fellow, Mr. Brian Burback
Thanks to the generosity of Ken Morrison, Brian Burback attended the Asia Society-Partnership for Global Learning Conference titled: Putting the World into World-Class Education, A Forum for Policy Makers and Practitioners.
“Being able to discuss these issues with teachers and administrators from many different places was very exciting and make this conference essential for anyone interested in global learning.“
Brian Burback
Lincoln North Star High School Teacher
As a result of the Morrison Fellowship, Lisa Krieser had the opportunity to travel to Tanzania and immerse herself in their culture through an organization called “Global Volunteers.”
“I was able to work side-by-side with locals in Pommern and learn about their families, their jobs, the schools, the clinic, the churches, the businesses. I brought back artifacts, video, and pictures for my students… so they could better understand people in Tanzania. It was an amazing experience!“
